Di Henry, OAM
Di Henry, OAM is an internationally awarded Creative Director and Producer of Events, Exhibitions, Operations, Media Campaigns and Marketing. Di began her career as an Art Director in the film and television industry in the eighties before establishing herself in the Arts, Event and Sports management fields. Specialising in major large-scale public events and operations; including 14 Olympic Torch and Commonwealth Games Baton Relays, Parades and Cultural Festivals.
Di is the owner of Maxxam International which has delivered events in over 100 countries especially Australia, China, Italy, Middle East, Asia, Canada, India, and the UK. In 2001 Juan Samaranch, President of the International Olympic Committee, presented Di with The Olympic Order for producing the Best Olympic Torch Relay ever staged (Sydney 2000 Olympic Torch Relay).

Mary Lopez, OAM
Mary Lopez directed the Schools Spectacular celebration of public education for 25 years and continues to be involved as Emeritus Director. In 2013 Mary is delighted to be asked to return as Artistic Director of the show’s 30th birthday celebrations.
Mary’s passion for nurturing talented young people led her in 1991 to co-found the Talent Development Project (TDP), which prepares exceptionally gifted young performers for careers in the music and entertainment industry. Mary has been Artistic Director of this unique program since its inception. She was instrumental in creating TDP's 'Bound for Broadway' scholarships in conjunction with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
In 2007 Mary received the Variety Humanitarian of the Year Award and in 2010 her contribution to public education and the arts was recognised with an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Western Sydney. In 2012 Mary received the prestigious Ted Albert Award for outstanding services to Australian music.

Sandy Hollway, AO
Sandy Hollway has also made an exceptional contribution to the events that we all love and remember so well today. Since his role as CEO of the Sydney Organising Committee for the 2000 Olympic Games, Sandy Hollway has provided high level advice to other events around the world. These include the Beijing and London Olympics, the Asian Games, the Commonwealth Games, the Cricket World Cup and APEC. Sandy was the key senior adviser to the Sydney-Beijing Olympic Secretariat and the Australian International Sporting Events Secretariat.
Prior to joining SOCOG in February 1997, Sandy had been an Australian diplomat, Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Hawke, and Head of two Commonwealth Government Departments – Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs; and Industry, Science and Technology. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the centenary of Anzac.
Sandy is passionate about promoting the export of Australia's world-class products and services in major events and sports and has led delegations of Australian companies pursuing business opportunities in this field.
In 2012 at the Launch of the Australian Event Awards, Sandy Hollway called on Government and Industry to instigate a deliberate, strategic expansion of the Australian events industry. He says, "It is nothing short of a vital national imperative to shift towards clever, sustainable, international service industries. And the smartest, quickest, most cost-effective way to do that is to build on existing strengths. The events industry is one of those strengths.”
